Recycle Center?

I have no clue if someone had already mention this idea. But I think eggcave should add a recycling center so people can get rid of useless items and possibly gain a small amount of ec (ex: 1-50ec) Per item they recycle. Another idea is that people can earn recycling points (1 point per 1 or more items recycled) to maybe purchase a prize such as a recycling inspired creature, travels, food items, books,toys etc. There can also be a leader board for the most items recycled.


Shorter version:

1. 1-50 ec gained per item recycled.
2. 1 point gained per (1 or more) items recycled.
3. If number 2 is followed points can be used in prize shop (toys,food,books,travels,creature?)
4. Leader board

I really like that idea! 😊 but it kind of clashes with the donations center.

❤️ ideas for the recycling inspired creature are already popping up in my head! ❤️

I barely see anyone donate. The recycle center could be used once a day?

Or some of the recycled items could appear in the donation center during random parts of the day with people being able to collect an item every hour or so.

Or maybe the donation center can give you ec with every few items donated while the recycle center gives you points for every few items donated? But the prizes can be up there in points?

What are ways you think the recycle center would work out?

I always love these kinda things cause my birthday is earth day.
I think it'd be cooler as an event if there are prizes though but I like it either way 😸
Plus it might make no one bother with the donation center if it was an always type of thing. I see quite a few in there as I check there a lot x'D Helps with my lazy goal of collecting items since I'm bored cause trading is going slow but I also don't really wanna spend any money on the items so I check the donation center x'D

@poptarts yeah the once a day thing could probably work out ❤️ also the donation center giving you ec and the recycle center giving you points is cool as well.

Here my recommendation to this idea:
1.) Re-label exceedingly common items (like non-shop from the Halloween Maze
such as Spilled Popcorn) a super low rarity, like "r(1-5) Super Cheap."
2.) Enable the Volcano as a "dump site" where people can "sacrifice" a
combination of 5 items (once a day; no side accounts) into the Volcano and get
a chance to get special Volcano-themed items (new and existing).
3,) The higher the rarity of the combined items, the better your chances
(hence #1) of getting good stuff while still giving a small chance to people who
give cheap stuff.
4.) Keep the Donation Center as it is except that cheap stuff can be randomly
donated, by the computer, every day, so "fodder" could be available all year
long.

This would give SOME value to the super cheap stuff AND encourage people
to buy things to sacrifice.

I kind of also would like this to be an Earth Day event idea it can begin start of April and end at the last month of May?

The items recycled can be put in donation center periodically and have a time cap on how many items a person can choose so people don't keep taking the donations and donating them to get more credits? Or as before the center can be used once a day donating a certain number of items? (Maybe 10 items recycled daily =1 point) Probably restating ideas but trying to think of a solution that would interest the staff.

As for the volcano that sounds like an interesting idea. 😸 It probably would take a while to implement if eggcave does decide to use your volcano idea or the recycling center idea.
