Characters will be removed from the roleplay if necessary, I just wanted to make sure people were aware of that. Sorry for not saying that before.

Now, this part you don't have to read. But I am creating a series of books based off of the "Dragons of Sorona," and I thought some might want to check it out. I might change things up from the lore and the actual books, that happens sometimes. While there is no way to type a link; I tried and there was no way to click on it, either look it up or type in: https://www.wattpad.com/512834962-dragons-of-sorona-1-the-frost-forms-chapter-one. Also, it might be canceled, it depends.









Note: There might be changes as the roleplay progresses, so check back each time a prophecy has been fulfilled, please!

Another note: These dragons live on an alternate version of the earth.


~Lore~

Really, to begin with, it was just a family, but soon it all changed. One day invaders came and raided the den, taking a whelp with it, and ending the life of the father in the family. The mother was distraught, but after that she focused on her remaining whelps' well-being, and once they were old enough to hunt, she taught them the best she could, along with many battle skills to help them along the way.

The dragons had many ambitions and goals. Scorchtail planned to be a no-fur-hunter, Darksky planned to create a Clan, but Waterscale and Frost didn't have very high goals. They just wanted to settle down and start a family, not much else otherwise. Meanwhile, their whelp-napped sister, Solarsky, had dreamed of creating peace among the Ones. The Ones were a group of stone-hearted dragons who knew nothing but cruelness and ferocity.

One day Solarsky escaped and began to form her own Clan, but soon it was slaughtered by the Ones when they found their settlement. But instead of their souls lingering, trapped on the world as most were, they were sent to the sky, for all were only good-hearted, with only the best intentions. There Solarsky's Clan formed a new and better Clan, a heavenly Clan. SolarClan. They watched dragons from the sky above, grieving for those who were pained and hurt.

Meanwhile the others' lives had taken a twist. Soon each of them had created Clans. Darksky now ruled the Ones, which were now called the DarkClan. Waterscale, Scorchtail, and Frost had created their own Clans. Waterscale had named her's after her mate, BayClan, while Scorchtail and Frost's Clans were named after themselves, ScorchClan and FrostClan. Solarsky watched her brothers and sister constantly, and grieved as Darksky died. But he wasn't sent to SolarClan, nor to continue roaming the earth. SolarClan had no knowledge of what had happened then.

What had happened? Well, Darksky was sent to a place that was dark and gloomy, and there spirits began to gather, those from his former Clan and those who roamed the earth still. This Clan was called DarkClan once Darksky's former Clan changed their name to honor their leader after him, DuskClan. Darksky began to despise that leader, but nonetheless, he gradually accepted those who had come from his former Clan.

Now it is two generations after the founders, and each Clan has settled themselves in different territories. But who knows what is to come?

~Prophecy~

The dark has risen. The light has vanished. Four Clans, four chosen. Light the way or night shall fall.


~Clans~

{BayClan}

BayClan consists of many variations of blue-scaled dragons. They are trained to swim better than most dragons, and when in danger the scales on their necks lift up, and inside the scales each time they drink, water fills in it and they use that water as a main defense, but they have another form of attack. When they flap their wings a number of times without taking flight, a mass of water forms and it sprays at a target the dragon chooses. One more way they can attack is that when they bite their tongue, a poisonous water sprays out straight in front of them for a fairly long range.

BayClan dragons are usually kind and merciful, but are given these attacks to defend themselves in the most troubling of times. They have smooth scales, and those scales are fairly easy to penetrate. BayClan has often had small disagreements with DuskClan, but have never dared to attack them. Though if battle does come, they have allied themselves with FrostClan.

Their territory circles around a large lake, their camp centered on an island in the middle of the lake. There's a fallen log that younger members use to cross, but members fit enough to do it swim across the lake to get to the other side, unless in emergency. The land in their territory is wet and sodden, damp and moist from the lake surrounding it, but they have very promising things to catch other than the fish in the lake, such as nearby birds, voles, ducks, beavers, and quite a few other animals. During the Cold Season the lake sometimes freezes over, which has caused some dragons to fall through the ice, but otherwise they are not harmed by anything in their territory.

BayClan members can breathe underwater for a fairly long amount of time. {In no-fur language, two days.}



{FrostClan}

FrostClan are known for their calmness and wisdom, and they are often light-blues and silvers in coloration. Their scales can lift up, and when they do, they turn to icicles, and they can shoot out those scales at any target they wish for quite a range. They have a frosty breath, which can turn enemies to ice if they wish to do so. Their scales are very rough, and grow back quickly, and though it is fairly difficult to, they can be penetrated. FrostClan has often had quarrels with ScorchClan, leading to a number of battles, but otherwise they are friendly with BayClan and, fortunately, none of the FrostClan members had ever come across a DuskClan member.

FrostClan shares a forest with ScorchClan, a river running through the the middle of their territory. During the Cold Season it often freezes over, and the territory is very cold. Due to this the FrostClan members' scales have adapted a way to keep them warm during the Cold Season. Their den is a hollow within the forest. During the Warm Season there are many birds, squirrels, chipmunks, deer, mice, and rats. Though during the Cold Season, there is often a shortage of prey, and some have starved to death during that time. Some dragons have fallen through the ice on the river, but otherwise, it is fairly difficult for them to be harmed in their own territory.

FrostClan members can survive severe freezing temperatures.



{ScorchClan}

ScorchClan members are known for their ferocity and stubbornness, but they can be more noble and refined than others in their Clan. They are flame-colored in coloration, some the blue color flames are when they are too hot. They can breathe fire and when their scales lift those scales begin to heat up and catch into flames, which they can shoot at enemies. ScorchClan members have hard and rough scales, which are nearly impossible to penetrate, but they do not regrow as quickly as FrostClan's scales do. They sometimes ally themselves with DuskClan but unfortunately DuskClan refuses to enter battle with ScorchClan against FrostClan, claiming they already have trifles with BayClan.

ScorchClan shares a forest with FrostClan, and their part of the forest heats up constantly during the Warm Seasons. They have a small creek running on the border with DuskClan, which, fortunately, they do not share with DuskClan. Their den is in a hollow in the forest. ScorchClan's prey consists of many birds, wolves, coyotes, deer, moose, and a few other things.

ScorchClan can survive severely overheated temperatures.

{DuskClan}

DuskClan is known for its cold-heartedness and they are very mysterious, many things unknown of them by the other Clans. They're black, dark-blue, dark-gray, and dark-violet scaled. From their mouths they can release a deadly and poisonous gas, and their scales are smooth but as impossible to penetrate as ScorchClan's. They ally with ScorchClan but refuse to enter battle with them, as they do not intend to battle other dragons, though they willfully may.

DuskClan lives in the mountains, their den concealed by a waterfall. Just outside their den is a small pond, and a harsh drop down the mountain, along with a continuing waterfall of that steep side into a larger pond at the bottom. In their territory there are often deer, moose, wolves, and a few other creatures to hunt.

DuskClan dragons are very stealthy and agile.

The Clan of which dragons go after death.

{DarkClan}

The Clan of which dragons who had caused pain and misery go to after death.

{Lost Spirits}

The spirits who go to neither SolarClan or DarkClan after death, but roam round the earth as spirits.

The MoonFalls is where the healers go to speak with SolarClan each half-moon, and where leaders receive their names.

~Rules~

1. No killing unless you have permission, it is also your character, or it is an npc.

2. No godmodding or powerplaying.

3. No hybrids.

4. Do not sign up anything other than dragons.

5. Follow the EggCave rules.

6. Do not include as much romance information as you would in a roleplay off of EggCave.

7. There is no limit to creating characters, but I don't want entire Clans populated by only your characters.

8. Do not ask to be in a prophecy, I will PM those who I choose to be in the prophecy.

9. At least attempt to use correct grammar. Mine not be perfect, but at least I try.

10. Stick to English when typing.

11. Respect others while they roleplay, don't be rude about how they "do something wrong" such as a typo. It's a mistake, everyone makes them.

~Vocabulary~

Wymerlings - Hatchlings.
Whelps - The young of the Clan; kids.
Queens - Not in a monarchy, they don't have monarchies. These type of "queens" are mothers.
Eggs - The unhatched form of a dragon.
Training Whelp - A whelp that is training to become something, most of them around the age of teenagers.
Guards - Training whelps who have finished their training to protect their Clan at all costs.
Hunters - Training whelps who have finished their training to hunt and provide prey for the Clan.
Healers - Training whelps who have finished their training to uncover prophecies and to heal the sick and wounded of the Clan.

Past: Illusion clawed out a lump of the mud and bit her lip. She opened her mouth, emitting a ghastly poison. It hit the cave wall, achieving nothing. She then glanced at her parents, who lay dead on the ground. The battle with the wolves had been rather brutal.

Illusion sat at the meeting. It was now a half moon after her parents' death, and she was feeling a great deal better. She was now a guard, and she relished the feeling of accomplishing her training. The deputy and leader of DuskClan sat atop the Duskledge, which stood above the waterfall. ``All dragons gather here before the great Duskledge for a Clan meeting!`` called the leader. A rather excited whelp bounced up, its eyes gleaming.

Illusion gasped as the new training whelp was assigned to her. ``M-Me?`` she said as she stood up. The leader growled. ``Who else would it be?`` Illusion dipped her head and she touched noses with her knew training whelp, saying no more.

Illusion sat on top of the Duskledge beside the leader. The deputy had died a few moons ago and she had been appointed new deputy. Her training whelp had just finished its training a moon ago, and was now an acceptable young guard. Illusion drew in a breath. 'This is just how far I've gotten...' she thought as she stared down at the DuskClan dragons.

Is Frost named after Froststar? If so, that's interesting, as a healer, being responsible for the health of its Clan, would be third in command, while Froststar was their founder. If you get what I mean, it really is a little intriguing.

So Snow's expecting, then? If so, I'll keep that in mind.

Appearance: Shiny black scales that glisten whenever light is on her, with a long hooked tail. And long Sharp spikes all along her back with blazing green emerald eyes.
Scars/Disabilities: She has a scar on her left eye, but that rarely weakens her, but she tore some of her claws out while battling and so she can't claw dragons as well as some.

Personality: is quick for battle and she takes almost anything as a threat. She also is a little bossy at times. She still listens to her clan, sometimes it is about the only thing that keeps her from leaping into battle with the other three clans.

Past: when she was a Whelp she was playful with her siblings, and about as innocent as any other Whelp until her family was torn away from her with battle this hardened her heart and she vowed to be the best Duskclan warrior anyone has ever seen.

I have been looking for ScorchClan characters, and I do want most to be included in the prophecy. If the reserved spot is taken, I can scoot around and manage to get you a side-part.

@animalliterature I wasn't going to reveal this until the actual roleplay but yes, Snow is expecting. Also, the reason her wing it ripped is because the battle was actually with her ex partner from another clan. (I'll make him eventually) She told him she was expecting and he didn't react well.

And Frost is named after the leader. His father believed great things would happen to his son, he believed he may eventually lead the clan and be a strong leader. His father definately didn't expect his son to become a healer, of all ranks.

I think the possibility of only my characters being in bayclan getting larger and larger everyday.... most of the clans still need a deputy.

Appearance: a light wispy grey and ghost like because she has been forgotten with green glowing eyes. a lean but big build. Before death she had a white underbelly and wings and most of her body.the scales on the top of her head along her back and tail are green and her horns where black speckled with white and grey spots.
Scars/Disabilities: dead very dead
Personality: was once brave and heroic but now blinded by rage
Past: was one of Nightstar's whelps but because of the rumors of her being of another clan one dragon from another clan thought it was wrong to mix clan blood and took the whelps when they there two and killed moorrunner in duskclan territory and was going too kill the other three before they where stopped by bayclan. the other clan where told that a dragon attacked bayclan and nothing else in fear it would happen again. And they did not talk about it so moorrunner was forgotten.
Anything Special: she is an enraged spirit that will kill anyone that isn't kin. Wanting others to know what it's like to be forgotten. mainly roams around the duskclan waterfall where she was killed but she attacks all clans.
Other: then a spirit is forgotten its takes more of a ghost like form then what it looked like when why where alive. and as her gets older she gets bigger (because getting attack by a long dead dragon that's the size of a two year old isn't scary)
