Hi!!! Welcome to Egg Cave!

One thing that you probably need to know that when someone posts on your wall (on your profile page), you need to post on theirs back. Pinging doesn’t work.

Oh, and by the way, pinging is putting an @ in front of their username like @iris1929578 or @insert_username_here. It gives a notification to the person you’re pinging.

EC and CC is the currency used in Egg Cave. EC is free, and you get it from feeding creatures. CC costs real money, and is used to trade off really valuable creatures, such as, for example, a Yuki or a Nym. 500,000 EC, right now, is the equivalent to 50 CC.

There are four types of creature availabilities: available, seasonal, endangered, and retired. Available means it can be obtained in the cave or in the Cash Shop Park (CSP). Seasonal means it can be obtained at a certain time. Endangered means it used to be a available, but now it can only be found in the Oasis. Retired means it’s gone. Done. These are usually the creatures that sell for the highest price.

Oh, and by the way, commons are Cave Commons, which can be found at the cave at any time. Monthlies are creatures that are only available at a certain month, and then it retires. Creature Release Week (CRW) is a certain week that special creatures can be obtained for only a week. And there are more, too! There are events and other stuff.

If there is anything else you want to know, just ask me! I’m nice, love getting bugged, and I don’t bite. You’ll find lots of other users that are like me too. Welcome to EC!
