Emoji Help, Please.

I am having a problem with Emoji's and can't figure out why my Shamrock works, but not my Rainbow.
Same code, same Emoji site, same copy/paste ... but the rainbow code (Sunflower, too) won't work. I end up with blank comment boxes. My Shamrock text works every time?

I typed code with spaces so you could see that the code is the same.

Certainly there must be other Emoji that work besides the Shamrock!

Trying a green heart Emoji (same size as Shamrock)

Tried it without the Emoji

Why do some work and some don't?

Fourth Edit:

I think I have the answer. Only Emoji that are Unicode 4.1 (below and up to 5.2) work.
Emoji that are Unicode 6.1 thru 12.0, don't.

@novrain62 sometimes the symbols are not allowed to be posted onto the site so when you submit the post/profile it will remove the symbol you have added. i think that is what has happened to the rainbow

@thedarkarcher - if you follow the link to 4.1. list it will allow you to use those symbols listed. If you scroll down to the bottom of the page, you can click on the other versions starting at the very bottom - thru 5.2 .. all symbols work until version 6.1.

The symbols are so cool after that, too. I'd like to be able to use them here.
Not sure how that can happen, but it would be cool. Love the animals and different flowers.
