To start, it's recommended to try to obtain as many monthlies as possible in the Cave during each month. Monthlies are creatures released each month and retire at the end. This month, it's the Gilyon and Coarach. The Gilyon is more popular than the Coarach, if people's enthusiasm is any indication. You can keep monthlies for a while and trade them later at a higher value. 😊

(Also, be sure to snag any creatures found in the Oasis or creatures that the Dragold makes magically appear in the Cave.)

Oh, also, forgot to mention. xD Be sure to ping whoever your responding to on the forums, otherwise they won't know you responded. To ping, either just click on the little orange arrow in the left-hand corner of someone's post (should say "Ping in Response" if you hovor) or type an "@" symbol and their username. 😊
