Description by me:
About Egg
Mir eggs appear in mirrors at homes of people whose thoughts are consumed by the beauty of their own bodies. They are only visible sometimes and there are at first no consequences of their presence.

About Creature
When Mir lives in a mirror, odd things start to happen with it. A shadowy animal can sometimes be seen within the mirror, more signs appear with time. At first the mirror starts getting dirty often for seemingly no reason. Next sign of this creature's presence are deformations which can be seen on bodies of people in this mirror, getting more and more visible with time. Then the room mirror is showing starts getting more and more different from how it looks in reality. Power of Mir grows with time, eventually it becomes visible always and gains the ability to talk. This creature detests vanity, but it is not evil and it's possible to be in friendly relations with it if you work on your flaws. All Mirs have the same mind and personality, they are one person in many bodies. When the creature decides it's the right time, it breaks the mirror disappearing from it.

@asteria, it's pretty interesting, and I like it! This idea was pretty good. reminds me of one of the Thief Shop creatures, called the "fox...ummm...something"(whoops~I forgot xD)

I just wanted to add what I've read here, I made that drawing if something interest you ask me, it was my idea of the image concept and all.
Don't see any similarities with the creature you mention!!!
