What??? Critter evolution problem...

I have a critter here Choco-bean the Meriton
and it says in the Archives, it has 500 views and/or up to evolve. Mine has slightly more than 7000 views and Still has not evolved! What's wrong? Thanks for stopping by and helping.

Oh wait, it said in the archive it only hatches in December. Is egg cave serious about it only hatching in December? It's kinda unfair if someone used a pitcher of views, and it reached the right number, but didn't evolve yet! And no, I didn't freeze or rebirth it...

From the Archive's page:
"Meritons can only successfully evolve in the month of December. They can't at any other time of the year."

This isn't a bug, once December rolls around again your Meriton will evolve.
