I think I wanna start collecting...

...Hourglasses. Yup.
I know, it's strange.
But I don't care.
And hourglasses are cool. ;]
I have this one glass hourglass at my house (More like a 30-minute glass), and I've been awfully obsessed with it lately.
I always turn it around to watch the sand run out and imagine I'm inside trying not to drown in sand. xD

Anyone else have any weird obsessions/collections? Discuss.

I used to collect littlest pet shops when I was little^^ I still have them all❤️ I always loved to pretend they were all in different clans and fighting a war against the evil pets Shops, and when I was even younger,like five years old, an evil mastermind trying to steal them all xD 😊 they made me SO happy^^ I also used to collect poke on cards and poke on stuff(if my stress gets way too high, one of the movies reminds me of when I was a little kid |D) right now I guess id have to say.... I collect little trinkets and treasures nowadays^^ I keep everything hidden away in a cupboard of mine^^ I also have a whole bunch of beach glass that I collected;D

@bluegirl80 LOL!!!! XD and that's just a rough estimate of mine...I haven't exactly counted them after Last Christmas when I got even more xD but yeah, theyr my guilty pleasure❤️ I'd probably have kept on collecting if they hadn't changed them so much =\

@Redfire77 But those are the cheap, tiny, 3-minute plastic ones. xD I like the bigger, stronger ones that go for a while.

@dreamer like the HUGE ones for like an hour? like the name 😋 I've seen some in gift stores. at yosemite(i go there a lot) in the ahwahnee they have this gift shop and they have HUUUUGEE hourglasses there.

I collect umm... I used to collect oyster shells/sea shells, i collected canadian money, i used to collect pokemon cards and movies, now i collect poems and quotes 😸

I collect spoons I have approximately 400. Some are well over 100 yrs old. I have some from other countries and at least 1 if not more from 48 states. Also a lot from world expedition and some with gems in the handle. Others are hand made with twisted silver. But the best one is my great grandmothers baby spoon it's about 2 inches long and the silver handle is a carved totem pole.

I *collect* Aviator sunglasses. 😸 They're expensive. The real ones anyways. i have 3 pairs of real aviators (1 of them branded COACH) & 5 fake ones. XD

@calla_pastures Spoons? That is also awesome to collect! I have a ring made from an old monk spoon. I have the spoon version too haha

I have a collection of money from all over the world that my Granddad had, that he gave to mother, and she gave to me 😊 And dragon figurines, i love dragons 😊

Errrrrr, lots of stuff XD I collected flippos for a long time and anything else that came in with Lays chips (or crisps, not sure o.O). Pokemon stuff & cards preferably relating to Jigglypuff or Clefairy (too cute X3). Yu-Gi-Oh cards, I have the awesomest deck around, despite it's major achilles heel (I seriously hate Gravity Bind and Level Limit Area B D:< ). I currently collect Fairy figurines by Nene Thomas, they're so pretty ❤️ and dragon figurines by Andrew Bill (soo gorgeous, but sooo expensive D|). And ofcourse pets with pretty pictures on here 😸

@calla_pastures hmmm the handle is shaped like a monk, it's silver (not pure haha) but very dirty now. little head, and robe that turns into a pattern (i think) and then spoon haha. The ring is just the handle bit.

I've wanted to collect snowlgobes. But then my sister beat me to it 😋 Whenever I tried to start up my own she would get upset. So now I am into Russian nesting dolls. I only have two right now. 😋 But I plan to make that grow. I love them!

A weird obsession?

This isn't really a 'thing' but...

I used to love cutting up things for no reason at all.

My friend chews her zipper as well...

But so far the weirdest thing I've seen was my friend's friend, who was obsessed at staring at herself in the mirror and pretending to look like a model, or pretend that the reflection was actually someone else. Or she pretty much did weird stuff in front of the mirror, including talking to herself, loudly. When I mean loud, I mean you could still here her clearly if she closes the door >.>

How awkward...

Not sure if I could call that an obsession, but I want to point that out
