MY FISH MIGHT DIE! IVE HAD IT FOR 2 YEARS AND ITS 3 INCHES LONG! PLEASE! I NEED FISH HELP! ITS SWIMMING UPSIDE DOWN AND SIDEWAYS, ITS SCALES ARE HARD AND THE BOTTOM OF THE FISH IS BLACK!! HELP PLEASE! SOMEONE CONTACT A FISH PERSON DOCTOR!!

@Bunnyshadow: Not very long. ☹️ ...But we didn't know what was afflicting them, so we never got a fungicide or anything to treat them.

@pipkitten i googled it for 3 hours ☹️ i finally found the topic its a dangeroua disease called Ichthyosporidium hoferi

@cafe your the one with the lizrd roght? At leat you know your lizard is supposed to eat less but i know FOR SURE theres. 97% or so chance they'll die. :c

@bunnyshadow. Don't worry, give your fish the antidote, they'll be fine, you have to be optimistic. Your fish wouldn't want you to get all upset. Do what you can for the fish and whatever happens happens. I had a similar case, my 1st beta fish was swimming with its mouth faced to the top, and that night he died. But hey, that's the natural order of things right? I also had a case where my beta fish rotted at the bottom.
Your fish seems old, this could be natural.

We had a whole string of fish whose tails and fins just sort of disintergrated :/ We were horrified. But turns out it was the fish shop because our next lot were from another town, survived an hours journey and we've Burt (yes, my fish is called Burt) for oooh at least four years now. He has phases where his tail gets a fungus, or disintergrates, but he goes right after a few days. Usually cleaning the tank helps, probably because whatever got in there is rinsed away. So, what i'm trying to say, is, maybe your fish will go right, and maybe you should clean the tank to keep them going long enough for you to get that fungicide 😊

Same thing happened to my fish, he was my favorite fish ever, to be honest his name was Bubble-Butt.
I miss him.

My fishies died of overheating...when I went on vacation, and my parents went to work, they turned off the A.C. and the poor fishies didn't make it.

@lennyAngel, i cleaned the tank and they look better but my biggest fish wont eat. My mom keels saying "Nothings wrong we already have medicine" but its not FUNGICIDE!

@sanibel aww.. I LUV those fish, but hav you realized that your not supposed to keep them in a same bowl/tank! My sis and i had fighting fish, mine was blue hers was red and we put them in the same tank and didnt know they would fight and the next day my fish was alive and hers was dead. (i was 8 she was 6)

I had 6 goldfish.
One was called Orangy (because it was orange) One was called baby (It was smallest, the runt of the school)
One was called yellowy (Because it was yellow)
One was called mum (I don't know why but it was averagly small and silver)
And one was called Jonah Lomu, named after a really famous NZ rugby player! (Because he was fat and black. With those MASSIVE google eyes. Well he WAS black anyway, then he changed colour to orange for some reason. I dunno why. We didn't get him knowing he would change colour). He got stuck in our round tree trunk decoration thing in the bowl once. It was pretty funny. We had to give him a push out the hole! XD

We also had one called export gold (names after a brand of beer, and was yelow-orange in colour and was very small) We got him later though, from the neighbour.

@james-bond -not laughing- haha. Very funny. Once i had a cave thing and my big white, peach striped cichlid,( she was so beautiful!) got stuck and when she came out there was a long scratch stretching from the gill to the tail and tiny scars around the body. The poor fish ☹️ she was lieing on the floor of the tank, so sad ☹️ she died the following night. Her poor painful death ☹️



But LOL ur goldfish must be FAT xD

i don't think it's a good idea to have small hiding places for big fishes!😱(if it was a small hiding place!)😱
