Hello. My luck with the mysterious asteroid isn't pretty good either. I've never gotten anything from it but I'll patiently wait and hope someday the asteroid will be nice to me and give me something ^^

Chances vary honestly. I've known some people that waited years to finally get one, and some don't even need more than a year to get something.

Chances at getting a mysterious asteroid egg seem to be pretty slim (at least for me).
I got my first asteroid pet sometime in July this year (2018) after being here for 5 years.
**Granted, I didn't go every single day**

I think current chances of getting a nyacos are 1/9 (since pareteorsite is now retired)
Though you're a 2016 asteroid plot participator your chances are increased. (If you are one, you'll see a message with an * before the message under the asteroid eggs.) Though honestly, IDK how much it actally increases chances. xD
