Reviving Dead Games

Can we make another alike version of a game if it died a while ago? Because I made a cool game on my other account but it died two years ago so can we still post in it or can we make a new version of it.

If a game has been dead for that long (2 years) you are free to remake it as posting in it would be considered bumping a dead topic.
