Does anyone ever use the adoption center?

As title says does anyone ever leave their creatures there? Paying to leave the creatures instead of selling them on AH seems weird. Anyone try it once?

I check it every now and then and I occasionally see one or two common eggs in there. I haven't put anything in there myself, though.

There was an "event" in 2016 where an older user quit and decided to put all their rare creatures in the Adoption Center.
I know for sure that there was a Macbot and a Goblar that were abandoned and adopted.
Ever since then I like checking the Adoption Center every so often!
I found a Gilyon there once c: It was adorable so I adopted it 😋
