What’s the difference between clicks and views?

It would seem to me that those numbers would be the same but they aren’t

@bludragon
Your creature gains a view any time it is seen by a unique IP address. So, for example, your profile creature will gain a view anytime its seen on the forums, blog posts, when you post on other's walls, ect. You can even put your creatures in forum signatures on other sites and they will gain views.

Clicks only happen when someone actually clicks and visits your creature's profile page. (this is the page where you can feed your creature) This means that the view stat is usually the largest stat for any given creature as they are the easiest stat to gain.

If you have further questions feel free to ask.

Does a view require a click?

@bludragon
Nope. As I stated above, views can be gained with out clicking on a creature and visiting its profile. A view is gained anytime someone sees your creature.

Oh so it’s not just the link but the link with the image?

@bludragon
Correct, the image of your creature is what is required for views. So if you put your profile creature, Myblueheart, in a forum signature on another site any time you post on those forums your creature will get views. If you want your creature to get a click someone needs to actually click on it an visit its profile page.
