Specific Date or the Easter Egg Hunt Prize?

Is it possible to complete the Easter Egg Hunt, say for ex. today, but retrieve the prize on a later date, such as the 15th?

I think you can. Cause when you go to claim it, you have to name the pet before claiming, so I think it holds it there until you name and claim it.
