I just got back to eggcave from a 1-2 year hiatus and either the chocotravaganza didnt exist back then or i was not on in February. I'd like to take part it in this year but i don't know much about it besides feeding is apparently a big part of it? Could someone give me more information about this event?

@runa I’m not too sure(as I joined late December) but I heard that you feed creatures and you might get a chocolate(not guaranteed) and you can sell chocolates for CC or use them to buy creatures. I think you can only use the ones you’re sent, not too sure on the details. I think an older and more experienced user can offer more help😊

@runa @athanasia Here is brief overview of how the Valentine's event works. While feeding creatures you have a chance to get a chocolate box. The only thing you can do with the chocolates you get from feeding is to gift them to other people. However, once you receive a chocolate box as a gift you can spend that in the prize shop for items and creatures.Chocolates are not items that can be directly traded or kept past the event. You can only interact with chocolates on the event page, either to gift them or spend them. Thus you can not directly trade chocolates for CC/EC.As always, you can NOT participate in the event from side accounts. If you have further questions feel free to ask.

@Orderedchaos @athanasiaThank you so much! Both explanations were very helpful

@Orderedchaos Just a question about selling the chocs.Last year (and I think the year before as well) I saw several people with posts like "I have XX amount of chocs, selling for Y amount each. Put the money on my junk trade, and I'll send them over". Now, I can see several ways this could be exploited with unscrupulous people (not that I'm accusing those people of such things), and I can see how it would also disrupt the give/receive aim of the event. However is this actually illegal? Or just discouraged as a "participate at your own risk" activity?

@Orderedchaos Thanks for the explanation!

@minnie298a This event is supposed to be about giving so we don't support such trades but they also aren't against the rules as we know people are going to do them anyway. However if you participate in such a trade and get scammed you can (and should) report it as scams are very much against the rules.

@Orderedchaos Thanks. They weren't something I participated in, and really just ignored. But thanks for the clarification.
