Just passing around a petition.

Did you know that the FDA uses diseased, euthunized animals ((dogs and cats, mainly)) to make dog food?

Need further proof? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g9DTzDfYMxo&feature=youtube_gdata_player

I can't see this as being healthy...the drugs used to kill cats and dogs being fed back to animals as dog food?

Please sign this petition to help stop it!

Yeah, did you know that is also how they mainly make Dove beauty bars? The tallow of dogs and cats?

Deleted • 1 October 2011 at 10:56 PM

It makes you realize that we need to be more aware and knowledgeable. Not just with our pets' food but our own. Not just food but with the things we use, the clothes we wear, the make-up we buy... everything. We need to become knowledgeable about every aspect.

That's awful and everything but,

1. That would be the cheap crap you can get at like the dollar store if at all, this isn't common

2. If you bury your pet it doesn't matter.

3. If it isn't in the ingredients on the label then that is against the law and not FDA approved.

And lastly there are far worse things in the world than this, how much do you think a petition is really going to do?

@crescentfeather I have also banned KFC, that one is pretty obvious.

Any fast food place=not good. Byproducts usually mean, cats, dogs, horses.

Your best bet is anything vegan. But sometimes we just have to accept we are eating things we don't want to, the world is full of worry. We sometimes just have to let these things go.

@balletninja

Anything with gelatin is made from animal bones/hooves. So all gummies and such, twislers gushers ect. Same with glue.

Nothing wrong with that you eat meat right.

(Pretty sure marshmallows have gelatin in them not sure though)

@balletninja I know what you mean...what we eat, drink, wear, live with, bathe with...everything...

@darklovely3100 Exactly. Not to freak you out, actually, this may calm you to know there is nothing we can do yet but...

Your clothes were made by 8 year old sick girls in a factory that is falling apart, and she is only making >$1 per day.

The water you drink is filled with fluoride and chemicles put in by the government, they hurt you and shrink a gland in your brain.

The stuff you wash your hair with probably has horses in it, same with what you eat.

But how can we know? It isn't our fault. We can try and stop it but PEETA isn't much help, for goodness sake, they are off protesting world of War Craft instead of this.

But don't worry I am pretty sure things will change soon.

@balletninja

BTW
Its not just Dove. The part that may or may not contain cats or dogs is the sodium tallowate, which is used in every soap.

Usually its the leftover fats from the beef and chicken industry's, but a few companies that sell the fat to the people that make the sodium tallowate much supplement the beef fats with other animals ie dogs, cats, horses ect. but this is not normal and the percentage in there would be miniscule. The people who make the sodium tallowate then sell it to companies like Dove. And Dove would be buying the higher grade kind.

Now if your crazy vegan you would uses special soaps from vegetable oil and olive oil. Its like the difference between using butter or pam/margarine/oil when cooking.

@nkiay Yeah, but I think dogs in my soap are the least to worry about. Seeing that tallow isn't in any of my products. Baddd stuff is happening, kinda depressing. You just gotta ignore it.

@dreamer Spring water is safe, the tap wata. Look it up, it shrinks the pineal gland. But yeah, the fluoride in the water is very bad for you, like eating toothpaste. Except in higher quantities.
