I think an account should have to be at least 3 months old to participate in auctions, because a lot of new people do not even stick around. It should be a probationary period. Besides, this gives them a chance to get to know how the game works.

I totally disagree. There will be players that leave, but there are others that stay. Why punish everyone. It bites that some of those creatures may be lost forever, but it's unfair to those that will stick around to be missing out on creatures. Besides, who else is going to buy those cave commons we don't want to unload for 4,500 a piece in the Adoption Center? 😉
