Here's your Whoon's evolution stages - it's one of the oldest critters in the game.

Greetings @glaselkj. There are plenty of horse-like creatures here.

There is the Dorrup which is currently available in the Cave.

the Calla is available for 100,000 EC in the SARC center. (It seems like a lot when you are new, but eventually it'll be easy peasy.)

Some retired creatures (many can still be traded for - many a long off goal, unless you're lucky and get a good deal or amazing gift. I only have obtained one of these so far) :
Anaria, Ceffyl, Crishorse, Daffolynn, Fairtop, Fiamma, Horrorse, Iccilah, Horsekin, Knightmare, Lasornic, Moxel, Oos, Raicorn, *Rayun, Unipeg, Valequine, Vulpselle (bear, but very horse-like), and Zebbit

Kambing (Thief shop)

Horsca (kirin), Sey (Oasis)

And one of the rarest is the Nyacos, available at the Asteroid. (There's people who have been on this site since the beginning and still haven't found one.)
