Volcano Terror!!

I don't know about you guys ,but I going ahead (terron remember) you can come if you want but even horsefoot doesn't want to come right horsefoot.

Leech couldn't sleep for the ache in her right wing. After restlessly dozing for a while, she got up without waking Gaudy and Tinsle, who were next to her. She stretched her wings and flew slowly through the air, trying to get the stiff pain out.
Flapping slowly above the jagged rocks that lined the base of the Volcano, she suddenly noticed a bright light bobbling toward the camp Leech had just left.
Swooping silently closer, she pulled up short in shock as soon as she saw the intruder. Flying as swiftly as her crippled wing would allow, she flew back to Lucen. She smashed into the ground as her wing failed, but threw to voice over the Lucen from where she lay.

"Lucen! Wake up! A bunthoff is coming this way!"

Do you mind if I'm the bunthoff? I have Aarsenic who can do 😊

Lucen woke up with a jolt. "A bunthoff?" he said to leech "they live a days walk from here! Are you sure it's a bunthoff!?!" Lucen was sceptica.l The whole "not natural thing" was getting to him. Lucen stood up. If it was a bunthoff, he need ed to ask to some questions.

(No, i don't mind if your the bunthoff. I have to leave soon.)

Leech nodded emphatically, dragging herself upright and ruffling her scales to ged rid of the dirt. "Yes, a bunthoff!"
There was a crack behind her, and the bunthoff in question arrived.
Silence in the glade.
The bunthoff, who's little globe all adult bunthoffs carry was glowing brightly, broke the heavy quiet. "I need to speak with someone. Someone who will believe this whole tale." He looked at Lucen, then at Leech. The"Please, this is about the Volcano..."

Tisle was startled awake by the commotion. He disentagled himself from Gaudy and walked over to Leech and Lucen, they were talkilng to a bunthoff?

-PLEASE READ ALL. IS IMPORTANT TO PLOT-

The Bunthoff watched the Roo walk up, but decided it looked trustworthy so he started his story.

"We were one of the first creatures to appear on Ark. There is something you must know about the Volcano: it is prevented from erupting by a stream that runs through its heat, which cools down the magma enough to prevent it from exploding. But in that water, is a chemical that glazes the Bunthoff's skin to withstand the heat within the Volcano, so that no one else can attack our home. Much like how a clownfish lives inside and anemone.
But in turn, we threw in the shells of our young which had a oily mixture which helped the stream stay cool through the magma and keep it flowing."

He paused. His skin looked pale and sickly and fragile.

"But this lovely balance was poisoned. Someone--I don't know who--poisoned the stream. Bunthoffs slowly lost their resistance to magma, and began to die. I left early and survived, but was branded a coward by my now-dead fellows. But no bunthoff adults, no eggs, and nothing to stop the Volcano from erupting. We MUST find what chemical was in our eggs and artificially put it in the stream! otherwise ARK IS DOOMED."

The bunthoff finished his story, and sat back, looking exhasuted. "I'm trying to find Ark and seek the Science and Research Center for help..." He looked up pleadingly.
"Please! I have already lost everything; my family, my home, now I need to save Ark to avoid my guilt."

Lucen stared at the bunthoff. "Poor fellow, and all that he has gone though..." Lucen thought. "You can join us!" Lucen offered "We can find the chemical that can save Ark!!" Lucen said to the weary bunthoff. Then he remembered something.......
"The science and research nipha was one of the first creatures off the island." Lucen stated glumly.

"I am Night Sky!!" shouted the terron, trying her best to frighten the terron . When she saw it wasn't working, she quieted down. "Sorry. To survive in this jungle, you have to act tougher than the next person. I came back to this island to find my best friend ,Lucen, but I heard he went on a "doomed" mission to rescue the island. So,I came to find him!" Night Sky explained.

( Your Terron is hatched, right. Cause it said on it's character info it was an egg.)

Lucen looked at RavenFire. "This bunthoff showed up. He told us info about the volcano.

"Lucen!!" NightSky yelled happily.
"Night!" I thought you left with the others!" Lucen replied.
"Like I would leave my best friend to be burned to a crisp! But you had other plans. Going on a crazy mission like this! What if you get hurt!" NightSky said to Lucen.
"Night, i'll tell you about this later."

Lucen turned back to the bunthoff. "I'm sorry."Lucen said. "So, would you like to join te group?"

Agapo and Melani walked back in to the opening where they were. Melani had something in her mouth, a small blue container. She dropped it on the ground in front of everyone.

"We found it near by in a moss patch." Agapo said. "Sorry we left a while," Melani explained,"Agapo saw something that might have solved our personal puzzle."

"Looks like the ice potion my mom used to give me when I became ill with a fever." Agapo said quite condescendingly. "If I heard your conversation with the bunhoff correctly," Added Melani,"This could be your contaminator." She finished in a serious note.

"I got it!!" The chemical in the egg shells is heat bacteria!" Lucen shouted happily "It's the things that get you sick when you have a high fever. Without those bacteria, the volcano's gases will cool down, making a chemical reation that would make the volcano exploud!! But.. then, the gases would block out the sun, and the gases would be so cold that the whole island of Ark would freeze over!!" Behind him, Lucen heard NightSky whisper "Smarty Pants."

( I just made up everything Lucen just said. XD )

A fair warm breeze went over their heads. "Wouldn't it be getting colder if this was true?" Agapo chuckled at the funny little Luvlei. Melani looked at Agapo in a Chide way. "I think he might be on to something!" Mealni said as if she were ready to start an argument.

"Well, it wouldn't get colder yet. I said AFTER it eurpted. Anyone who survived the heat,lava, and deadly ash clouds would have to survive an ice age." Lucen informed them. "Now lets think... WHO would benfit from an ice age?"

NightSky shuttered with fear. "I see why you had to come on this stuipd mission." she told Lucen "The creatures remaining are in for some deep stuff!"

Melani muttered to herself, thinking of snow eggs. "Snolo. No too nice and would melt because they are so slow and wouldn't make it during the lava. Arnmnea. No they are kind, well the young are but the elders are not take note of them."

Agapo continued her thoughts as if in telepathy. "Swornt, Roo, Treelar, Berr, Guinstar. Well only the treelar and swornt are passable because the rest live far away." Melani stepped forward,"And they are the only ones to benefit! Shall we go check upon the creatures mentioned?"

@taffy789 Even though everything you just said made no sense (Volcano=NATURALLY hot. It should have COOLED DOWN to prevent it from exploding, not other way around) Simple logic.

Agapo nodded at Melani to his back and she hopped on. "Lets go weakling." She laughed at Melani. Agapo ran with the rest at a slower speed but non the less he still did. "Why do you think that swornts wouldn't melt?" Shouted Agapo over the winds.

@ninja -I was thinking of it Like the volcano needed to be hot on the inside, but when the gases cooled down, it heated up to extreme levels, making it want to exploud. When it explouds the cooled down ash goes into the air, blocks the sun, and turns ark into ice. (Either way, we just needed to plot to advance. XD )

@ninja Lucen walked back to the bunthoff. "Do you still want to join the group?" he questioned.

Aarsenic looked up. "Sure, but I may not be able to go very fast..."
Gaudy interrupted. "Hey Aardvark, you can ride on my back. I'm strong enough" he said, puffing out his chest.
Aarsenic bristled at being called"Aardvark" but finally shelved his pride and climbed up onto Gaudy's back. "Swornts are fabled to be impervious to flames because of their radioactive waste inside them" he said to @balletninja Agapo.

@taffy789 for one thing, explode is not spelled exploud. And okay, if that makes sense to you then...

Lucen tried to run after them,but miserably failed. Night Sky picked up lucen and flew behind the group.
As they ran though the forest, Lucen heard growls and snarls. They seemed close. "Hey guys.." Lucen called out "I think some thing is following us...."
BAMM!!
With a flash of green a lepard like creature Knocked Night Sky out of the air. With a growl the Luckuar ran into the forest. The pack of Luckuars surrounded the traveling group.
