Why does it say moving my items to stronghold keeps it from getting stolen?

Other users can not steal your items. However a few of Egg Cave's events can affect certain items in your inventory. The Dragold can steal items from your inventory and during Ark Victory Day sometimes claiming a prize can instead turn an item in your inventory into coal.

The Dragold is an NPC who shows up during March. You can visit his den and he will either share some of his treasure (ec/items/creatures) or take treasure from you (ec/items).
