About the Egg:

The Chamelemon egg has a soft, delicate texture like a citrus fruit. The closer it is to hatching, the softer it gets! Some folks swear that there’s a “scent” to these eggs that almost mimics their edible counterpart, citrus fruits, but its believed to be a myth.

About the Creature:

The Chamelemon starts its life as a bright green, like that of a key lime. As it matures, it turns to a bright yellow, matching its name, and eventually returns to the orange it once was as an egg. Ark scientists are baffled at how this creature’s color patterns mock the life cycle of citrus fruit, and are determined to figure out this phenomenon.
