"100% chance of receiving Cave Monthly"- Doesn't recieve Cave Monthly

I've noticed in the past couple of dailies that I will be told when completing Dailies that I have a 100% increased chance of receiving a cave monthly. I'm not good at math, but doesn't 100% mean that it's guaranteed? I've copied/pasted the text I got today - I'm very new to the site still, so I'm almost certain that even if 100% is supposed to be guaranteed, I wouldn't have earned that on the third day of the month.

"Today's dailies are now complete! You have a 100% increased chance of receiving a Cave monthly! Rolling for your Cave monthly..."

Drat! It's not a Cave monthly!

It is 100% of the current chance to get a monthly. Or, as stated on the challenge page right next to the claim button, double the normal chance.

"The chance of receiving a Cave monthly is doubled when claiming."
