How to get clicks?

do all eggs need clicks to hatch? I have no idea how to get clicks and idk if u need them or not. ty if u help.

@kingbob - You can get clicks simply by people clicking onto your creature's page. You can use the site's own click exchange to gain them slightly easier (click the "[amount] XC" box in the sidebar, XC are the credits used in the click exchange) or you can put them onto an offsite click exchange such as Yarold's (but make sure the link says "/click/" instead of "/egg/" or else they won't actually get any clicks). Anyone feeding your cove will also give your creatures clicks.

Some creatures require clicks to evolve, but not all do. Some need views, some need feeds. You can check which creatures need what by checking their species' entry in the Archives, or by going to your "Your Cove/Creatures" page (which will list how much of a certain stat they still need to reach the next stage in brackets).
