what does it mean, and how does it work?

it certainly isnt anything to do with release date, so im scratching my head trying to figure it out.

@cryogenics it's a ranking of which creatures have the most number of existing (and currently alive) members of their species on the site!

e.g. tasma's are #1, wynerls are #2, and mos #3, so there are more tasmas on the site than any other creature, followed by wynerls, then mos. then on the other end of the spectrum, requins are in last place, meaning there's fewer requins than any other creature.

Population rank is based on rarity (population of a species relative to the population of other species) 😊 The lower the number, the more common the species. Conversely, the highest number is considered the rarest or fewest in existence c:
