I especially hate when they try to tell me there's no water in the store at all, like walmart is definitely not out of every type of water.

Guess we're stuck in a similar boat. I used to be in uni dorms (I left a month ago) and running out of water or food was quite the pain when I couldn't go get any myself.

Worse thing I had happen was the water company not being able to provide safe water for a few days and that's when walmart was being picky about the bottled stuff.

It's certainly hard to trust a water company when the water is so bad it can't even be used for hand washing.
