Here in the states, the 3 names are used interchangeably. I live in northern CA & they are inhabitants here, even in urban areas (though they usually don't make their presence known)! The term puma is used slightly less frequently.

Rock crab
*Ohh niceee! I live in Croatia! Btw I saw a crab while diving today although I think it's of a different species of crab then the rock crab! That thing was MASSIVE

Sandhill Crane

I was in Croatia in 2015 when the railway was shut down due a massive overload of Serbians try to cross the boundary into other EU nations. We were scheduled to travel to Slovenia via train but had to take buses instead. Croatia is such a beautiful country, my fave spot being Plitvice.

*Honestly it's better that you took the bus XD! It would take you such a LONG time to get to Slovenia by train! Ohh yeah Plitvice are definitely BEAUTIFUL and it's our biggest National Park! Have you been to National Park Krka by any chance?

Urutu snake

No, we did go to Split which I see has departures for day trips to Krka. Actually, the bus took forever as it went from Zagreb east to the border w/Hungary then northwest into Slovenia w/several long stops at border crossings to make sure that everyone on the bus had legitimate passports from their country of origin. We were so relieved when we finally got to Ljubljana.
