Best way to get seeds?

Apologies if this isn’t the place to ask this, the forum is still a confusing place for me?

What is the best way to get seeds? My only goal is to try and achieve a Kotole but after trying for two days, I only have 110 seeds (I lost a few to mean games) *d’oh*

I was looking at the Leaderboard and thinking how on earth does someone get to 8k seeds in just two days *cries*

What’s the secret? 🙀

Feeding. Lots of feeding. It's how I've gotten most of mine. I haven't taken any notes yet this year, but last year when I did I was averaging 1 seed every 4 or so feeds. I use a desktop and the Ctrl-W/Click method for faster feeding.

I also do all the games. snowywinter has posted a guide with the names of travels to help with that game (TT). Plus the MS (Mad Scientist/pick the food) and DD (Donation Disaster) don't have a risk of losing seeds. If your not on a mobile device the Stargazing can be profitable once you get the hang of what to look for.

I am on mobile, I use an iPad, which leaves out mass feeding (it’s old and tired and can’t handle a lot)

But I have done the constellation a few times and done ok, I also figured out the feeding one, but again, I’m limited by my available memory 🤦‍♀️

I’ll have a go at the other two and see if I can boost my seeds 👍

Personally what I do on my phone, is I just feed like crazy. I then only play Stargazing, Mad Scientist, and Donations Disaster since they do not take any seeds from you. I'm no good at the travels game lol. I don't even bother with the others. I already have almost 1000 seeds and I've only played for maybe 2 hours in total between today and yesterday. I don't rush myself because as long as I have enough for the one new creature, I get it for Halloween as a treat for myself for playing lol. It's less daunting getting 2200 seeds in 31 days as opposed to 1 or 2. Play at your own speed 😊

My seed average for the Maze seems to be roughly "50 in, 50 out", plus I get items and spookiness. But, yeah, Donation Disasters is easiest and safest bet of all the games (guaranteed plus), Mad Science is guaranteed non-minus... and Stargazing after about 20th time stumps me, especially is a small (only a few stars) constellation comes up.

So, yeah, feeding, playing most games regardless of win/lose results (but not too often) and not going for Day 1 3000-worth creature is my way 😃

Being on only mobile will probably make it a little harder, just because of the speed feeding bit. Not impossible, but not as easy. As I said it's the way I get the majority of my seeds.

But you do have the month to do it, and you only need an average of 71 seeds a day to get the Kotole. I believe you can do it.

On pure seeds, I've never won back my seeds from the maze. Closest I've gotten was last year winning 1310 of the 1550 I spent. This year is sitting at 31/100. But, once you throw in the value of the travels worth seeds, I find the maze worth the price.

I’m following the same games as you, they give without taking and I’m up to 357 seeds now, so hopefully if I can keep it up I’ll achieve my Halloween special pet 🥰
