image with all stages: https://imgur.com/a/KuA1TTTi thought this suggestion might fit summer because summer is full of insects, and also because in some parts of the world summer is the time for scary stories and superstitions...lalabug is partially based on an earwig..! they have really beautiful intricate wings that fold against their bodies in an extremely precise way. they are also one of the only insects that practices parental care for their young!egg description:These eggs are incredibly small. In fact, they are 1/4 the size of a human fingernail! Lalabug eggs are laid in large groups, clinging to the underside of tree leaves deep within the forest. The adult Lalabugs take very special care of these tiny fragile eggs, constantly cleaning and protecting them. These eggs are also incredibly poisonous!creature description:Lalabugs are most known for their strange songs. Many superstitions claim these songs, which can be heard in the depths of the forests of Ark during summer, are a bad omen bringing misfortune and illness. Lalabugs are communal creatures, gathering in groups to sing these strange and off-putting melodies. These groups are strangely elusive, but when found are surprisingly friendly- that is, if it isn't not egg laying season. When the eggs hatch, Lalabugs go through multiple life stages. First they are born as young larvae and then metamorphose into adults. This metamorphosis is celebrated with a unique song which can be heard throughout the months of June and July.Because of their communal nature, Lalabugs don't fare well when kept alone. They need the company of other Lalabugs to thrive.
