Hello everyone! I'm new to egg cave and I was wondering if anyone had any tips/tricks to share 😊

@tamafox Hello and welcome to Eggcave! There is a great user-made Newbie's Guide if you want to check that out, and if you have any specific questions feel free to ask!

The only thing I can think of regarding tips/tricks is, the best way to evolve your creatures is to be active and feed other user's creatures. There are plenty of active users around who will feed your creatures back if you feed theirs. (Just make sure they have 'feed friendly' on their profile, or at least don't have any 'do not feed' notes.)
