How to make money?

Hey yall not really new I've had an account sicne 2017 but fully forgot about it
I made a new account and made this one my main sicne my 2017 one has a name
I'm not fond of anymore to ever use. that 2017 account rarely has anything on it
but now that I'm really trying to play this game. how does one get more EC?

I see games but all betting games and you costs EC to play a chance to be
correft to win EC I only have 668EC not sure how to get more with out
loosing what I have left? anyone know. info and help would be nice.

Hello and welcome back!
You can get EC by feeding creatures. There are a lot of feed friendly coves, and there are users who have hundreds of creatures too.

I would avoid the Thief Shop, as their rates for getting a creature is low. Once you have some EC you can always invest it back into items and create a user shop. Items are collected by other people, used for quests, etc. So you can gain a little pay back if you value it at a good market price.

If you collect the monthly release creatures, in a few months/year or so, they go up in value. Dependent if there is a demand for them, then you can get some EC as a trade (or if you put them up for auction). Common creatures who are here all year round will not get you much for EC and trading, as they are available.

Logging in every day will slowly get you more EC, adding in money to your bank will collect interest that you can collect once a day.

Lastly, if you have ability to attain CC, you can always sell it for EC. The difference is that CC (CaveCash) is obtained through real world money. And that is dependent on the player how they want to play this game.

*I recommend participating in a creature release week event, as that comes out in a week or so. Limited edition creatures will be released each day, and that is a great chance to snag them. Over time they will gain sell value.*

Only game you have to pay to play as far as I know is alkub racing.. wall of sandrodons is free. Trivia is usually easy 10k, with occasional tough questions (not so quick to answer that is to say. Sometimes you have to identify creature by blurred [and sometimes colors removed too] image and if nothing distinct about it [like if it looks like a bear, I just search 'bear' in searchbar since there will be bear-like creatures that people have 'bear' in name somewhere], can take a while to find the answer going through archives).

There is also quests https://eggcave.com/quests which I would recommend once you've made enough EC and/or stockpiled enough items in your strongroom so you dont have to keep going to user shops every other quest.

Quests give you tokens to then redeem in the VEND machine, which holds retired cave creatures. Currently available VENDs are worth 100 - 200 CC but I suggest stockpiling the tokens until something is about to retire from the VEND like the Nogar or when there's an old rare creature that gets stocked.

Theres also the chance some user would want to pull something from the VEND machine and if you have tokens available, you can set up a trade with those users.

I started recently and stopped for a while because I had the same question, I did not know for the longest time that I can feed other people’s creatures! Being able to do that has certainly opened the site up for me.
