@inkless Hello and welcome to Eggcave! The user-made Newbie's Guide is a great way to get a feel for the basics of the game. Basically, get creatures and raise them with the help of other users. Creatures need feeds to stay happy (if they get too low on happiness they can die, unless level 20 or above), the best way to get consistent feeds and evolve your creatures is to feed other user's creatures, and then they feed yours back.
