So I know we can't share locations since they're different for each account... But I just went through all the pages I could think of and didn't find one. I think my approach is either fundamentally wrong... Or I've got terrible vision. What kinds of locations have you guys seen the eggs?

They are extremely tiny. They mostly show up near the top of the page on the white part of the page. Keep hunting!

@noodlebrick
@/minnie298a shared a screenshot of what the eggs look like https://ibb.co/ZRrPSpcZ. they're very very small and only appear in text containers.

general guidelines and tips for this event:
- eggs appear on a timer, so spamming different pages don't make them appear faster. i've personally gotten eggs from 2-20 minutes, leaning on the longer side the more eggs you get
- i recommend clicking between https://eggcave.com/leila/oasis and https://eggcave.com/leila because there is a very short block of text and eggs are more noticeable.
- if you're on a computer, hold control + A to highlight all the text (and eggs) on the page. the eggs are actually slightly transparent so the blue highlight is paler compared to the text.

go slow, look carefully, and good luck!

Hi there. They're really super tiny. And if you have lag, they can be the last thing to load on a page.
My tactic this year since I don't have access to my usualy nice big laptop, (I usually like to look all over for the fun of it) was to take a breath (not click any pages for a couple minutes) btwn finding them, then refresh a short page (My personal favorite for this purpose is Ark Victory Day.)

@minnie298a provided a nice screenshot on the blog

Keep in mind the eggs will usually only appear in the white spaces (next to site text, or graphics.)

Best of luck!
(neat username btw ^^)

@noodlebrick Agree with all the above!

My tip: If you find an egg, and then you continue playing Egg Cave as you normally do, going page to page, you'll mostly likely miss the next egg. So, for the entire duration of finding all the eggs, I recommend you don't "play" EC at all. Only come on to refresh after the five minutes or so. It's been the fastest way for me over the years. :-)

yup, agreeing with @daisycat (That was a great way to put it!)
I set everything else aside other than the occassional Cave attempt. No restocking, no buying, no feeding. Any other thing I did, I checked each page carefully before closing it out.
Dedicating my time to look for the Easter Eggs took me about 3.5 hours. It started at 4:25 PM, I found my first egg 10 minutes later (why is the first always one of the most frustrating to find?!,) and finished at 7:53 PM.

Then after a bit of mini-celebrating, (and getting something to eat,) resumed my Eggcave activities, (and blinking >.< lol)

I do miss just searching all around the site for the fun of it, but on the years I want/need to get it done, the most efficient way is to dedicate a chunk of time to it.

(I remember when the last three eggs used to take 1-2 hours btwn finds! the whole hunt used to take about 12 hours. Lots of members are grateful for the shorter version.)

They are tiny. So very tiny. Others have posted my screen shot, but if you don't want to go off site, the one I captured (Tidalvorn) is about half the height of the T on the Thief Shop banner.

Another tip is to make sure your screen (and glasses if you wear them) are super clean.

Also if the egg appears at the start of a line of text, it is easier to spot as it throws the line out of whack. They also appear at the start or end of paragraphs, not in the middle.

Personally, I do feed normally. Kind of. I'll feed for a couple of minutes than click the Archives page of the creature I'm on. If there is no egg, then I feed a couple more eggs. Rinse and repeat until I find one. (I use the same strategy when hunting for gobblers)
