hi! I found this site through chicken smoothie (same username, add me if you play!)
my name is Casper, or you can call me by Junebug/Buggie. I have no idea how this site works yet, but so far i have two eggs and I'm trying my best to figure this all out haha!

Hi and welcome, Casper! There is a newbie guide made by user @/twinkle that's really great and comprehensive!

A tip from me: You can make money (egg coins / EC) by feeding players' creatures. Just first be sure that the user is "feed friendly" before you feed anyone. This means you can feed all of the creatures on their account. Players will usually type "feed friendly" in their profile or on a linked creature's page. Some players aren't feed friendly and don't want you to feed certain creatures because they don't want those creatures to evolve -- they may prefer an unevolved stage of the creature versus another.
