Ideas for helpful forum topics

Hi, I have a few ideas for forum topics that might be useful. I don't really trust myself to be reliable enough to run the topics, but maybe someone else would be interested in doing so?

I think most people prefer to run their own trade threads, having more control over it.
But having collective threads for those things could have the benefit of helping prevent them from getting buried by games threads on quest days. Not everyone has side accounts to bump a topic that is still open when they are still seeking those things.

And yeah, the idea definitely isn't to replace individual threads, or have the trading take place on the masterlist thread even. More like just have a reference place where people can link to their own threads/otherwise share their information.

One that I keep thinking of proposing is something similar to The one used for Questing.
one time items (as opposed to long-time collecting goals,) something someone is looking to buy, super small quantities. one to two of something. Generally currently available items, or easily obtainable.
I don't know if there'd be interest in that or not, but so many times i chickened out of making up a thread for when i'm just looking for one of something, sucked it up and waited out a month or two to acquire it.

I would definitely find that useful! And I imagine other people would too. I often see "searching for [currently available item]" in people's statuses. (Usually about Trinket Travels.)

Somebody had to. Lol... been at least a year I've been hearing "I *wish* we had something like that." ...but no one has ever got around to it. lol.

Something this big I wanted to ping at least 20 people. I had 0 pings available in my social spoons at the moment. (And I forget most of who I knew were were interested. -_- Sorry everyone.)


And yeah, it can be so hard to network, we're so fragmented in our requests. I see those in statuses, forget to write it down, then I see the item in the NPC shop, and was like "WHO wanted that?!" - and i just revamped one of my sides and my focus is Trinket Travels, and I encourage people to Wall me there for requests... but if they don't actually read the shop text, how are they supposed to know?
Hopefully this new thread can help with that. (a bit. The ongoing collections might be an issue... I'm going to think of a way to re-word the post to be a bit more inclusive...)
