your hopes for future cave commons?

the tasma, wynerl, puffup, and cosmomon becoming endangered recently got me thinking about what new cave commons might come in the future.....what species/themes/colors are you guys hoping we get some day??

i'd love a spookier bug fella, like a scorpion, spider or centipede. we've got some insect commons in the cave but no arachnids (unless you count spidet) or myriapods !
a sea creature would also be cool, we have a few different types of regular fish already, so maybe a jellyfish or something - personally i'd LOVE a weird cnidarian one like a coral or siphonophore but idk how popular that'd be with other people besides me UHDSSD. a shrimp or lobster could also be neat !!

I agree with your thoughts! :-D

Any spider or myriapod would be welcomed by me. Especially a velvet or jumping spider. I also think a shrimp-like creature could be very popular. And, I'd appreciate if the baby stages could be extra tiny. 🥺 For themes, I'd love a forest or dark theme.

I've been trying to figure out what i'd like to see. Am hoping for at least three new species to show up in the coming months. But nothing much has come to mind. I'm pretty much open to a lot.

(Still peeves me that were were told repeatedly the Cicadiem where only going to be around for a limited time and they're still here. I love them, but it no longer feels special. Now I'm used to having them around and snagging them to mark specific dates, and it's going to sting when they are eventually pulled.)

Strongly hoping for another canine some day. (At first i was thinking maybe this would be a chance for my wolf creature (Orem) idea... but I really am hoping it would be a daytime compliment (NOT replacement) to the Terron. Not wanting those to become endangered.)

Just now I saw blip of a chubby bird of paradise similar to the Bulbrigar but longer tufty things on its head, more greens and blues. I think that would be a fun catch in The Cave.

(OML... you're naming so many things that are absolute Nopes for me >.< Like I just can not. Avoid even pixel forms. Like I have little buggy friends all around me. For example just yesterday I gently evicted a spider from my toothpaste. And sit and watch them iRL for hours. But I can't stare at them on a screen.)

OME, you just gave me an idea! (a compromise if you will...) This site jumps on memes so often I'm surprised we don't have one yet (and if there are any creature suggestions, please point me to them!) What about a spoopy? *ehem* I mean cute jumping spider. jewel colored eyes, heck jeweled tones on almost all of it, looks like it's smiling. Just the most adorable arachnid one ever did see.
(and now I see that jumping spiders wearing water droplet hats memes is a thing. Well, that evolved. lol.)
(Also, spoopy is not the creature name suggestion... it's just what I refer to them as. And the Gantula, cause spooky puppy. Though I suppose that would actually be a really good Species name for a jumping spider creature!)

hee hee hee... mosquito. Cause they are common. (and they are important to keeping ecosystems healthy. It starts with them < 3 There's never enough love for mosquitoes.)

I really want something completely original, unrecognizable, that will have people have a hard time describing what it is, and even past retirement people will still have dozens of different ways to refer to it with "thing" being bandied about multiple times.
Maybe a little fuzzy, maybe a little green, a little purple, an long snout or the snout is just furless. Maybe almost marsupial in structure.
"You're describing the shrew." In my head it looks nothing like the shrew.

and i was about to post. and a newspaper came into my head. "the Newsie". No self, this seems more like a special release creature and after the reception of the Wordle I don't think that's ever happening again.

I'm going to keep thinking on it, but I just keep having random "what about..." moments that aren't that great. I really am open to almost anything, and keep hoping against things that really creep me out but yet that there's still a little something for everyone.
my only major wish is that there's another canine type creature.

also yes! I love the smaller just hatched stages. I'm sad that they're so rare. And it would be perfect for a jumping spider creature! : D
