Pinging

I think that when someone pings you in the blog there should be a notification. maybe this is a good idea???

@schwartz Yeah its a good idea, but most people don't get pinged in the blog anyway, sadly. ☹️

It is a nice idea, but I wouldn't necessarily suggest it. Pings are generally meant to get someone's attention to further the discussion. Blog posts, on the other hand, are meant to discuss one topic: the topic of the post.

Because it's pretty condensed, I don't think it makes sense to add this functionality. Blog posts are not made for in-depth discussion, which is why the 140-character limit is in place.
