My Creature Idea

I drew a creature called the Scarim

I havent colored it yet I dont know how I want to color it yet so suggestions are appreciated
SCARIM BIO:
Scarim live deep in forests and caves and only come out to eat candy and other foods left at their den. It is said to be good luck to leave one piece of food/candy by a Scarim den. Scarim are usually gentle but can have an occasional angry outburst if they are unable to hold it in. Scarim slowly gain pigmentation as they evolve. Scarim are often associated with Underworld or forces of evil.
