On commercials, I don't see a lot of interracial/same sex couples.

I think I've seen two interracial couples
I haven't seen one same sex one.

Why is that?
It's 2011, not 1985

It just confuses me xD
Someone explain?

Do the people fear that if they use something controversial, less people will buy it..?

@cafe

I dunno, maybe they think that people look better with two different genders cos it's a better match?

I...I have no idea how to respond to that... I'm going to carry on cutting coupons whilst watching sleepy baby bunnies.

No, I just don't know how to respond to that xD
You comment dumbfounded me, literally

All that ran through my head was "There is no 'better match'" but I get what you mean - one less controversial.

Well, same sex couples are still a taboo in a way. There is a lot of hatred towards homosexuals, so commercial like that may cause a turmoil. Still, things are getting better and soon hopefully there will be more commercials like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GmPPFjKNyr8 (Others: DON'T watch if you are sensitive about the topic)

I see plenty of interracial couples on TV. It depends on the channel you're watching. But I rarely watch TV so of course I may be a little retro or something.
