'No problem. Well, I haven't practised much, though, why do you ask?' Sapphiria sat down next to Julia on the dew-covered grass. 'Nothing to practise on - I can't do attack spells without a target or defense spells without something attacking me.'

Flame came quickly, and coincidentally, too. Panting, she managed to blurt out "Hiya! I was trying to make bigger and better fireballs, but they backfired. They weren't as hot anymore. So now I'm practising super-heated flame particles. You?" she gestured to Julia and Sapphiria.

'Hello, Flame. I haven't seen you in a while. I haven't really practised my magic yet, although I'm thinking of training my attack and defense skills.'

She summoned icicles to erupt from the ground which smashed a rock to pieces. 'Just missed.'

With a squeal, Flame leapt from her standing position, before charming a few flared particles to defect any ice. "I can't go too long with the cold," she explained "I need to be hot, all day, everyday. Which is why I need to practise more powerful fire spells than ever. I reckon I'm getting better at summoning, but I don't think the rapidity of the appearance makes the heat of the particles very good..."

'Oops, sorry Flame. I did not know you couldn't stand long in the cold. Quite the contrary to me, as I love the cold. If I casted an ice aura around you, I think I'd harm you instead of healing you... I'll be mindful of that,' Sapphiria smiled.

"Yeah, maybe," Flame agreed "I think wind can also power up my flames. I've learnt how to do some rather advanced spells but..." she said, pausing "I can only do flame spells. She seems to be more acquainted with ice. What can I do? Train her which can mortally kill me? Ok, not kill, but weaken. But I'll try to help," she added hastily.

"Well," she said, smiling "I might do better in my house. Watch out, though, it's a volcano with some really nice lava there, and also a lot of flared sparks. Hope you can stand the heat! I can heal myself, though," Flame muttered a spell under her breath, and was healed by dancing sparks in the air, emitting intense heat. "That's a Blue Giant Essence spell. It takes essence from blue giant stars. brings them here, and heals me. It's basic flame magic."

'No, Flame, if my skills were to harm or weaken you, I'd wouldn't forgive myself. Fire melts ice; I could help you with your defense skills while helping me with my attack skills. That way, neither of us would get hurt.'

"Good idea! Well, let's get to work then!" Flame replied cheerfully, before an incarnation which brought red-hot pins and other what-nots into the air "The Pin charm. Can pick up rocks and any other small objects and make them red-hot, as well as suitable for attack!"

Sapphiria smiled. Her fingertips gleamed with neon blue light and in each hand, there were three razor-sharp ice shards. The shards resembled diamonds, each flawless, which reflected the morning light. She threw her six shuriken-shards at Flame.

With a dismissive swish of a hand, Flame let the pins and what-nots go at their glory. They had an epic battle, and the pins and what-nots laid on the floor. With another incarnation, another army of pins and what-nots gathered up, with the party larger, and the variety more diverse.

'Good.' Sapphiria shot a subzero icy blast at Flame. Frost surrounded her as she concentrated on her spell. It was almost noon, and her powers were strongest at sunrise and sunset.

Julia smiled. She summoned the same gust of air, the wall of air.

"Tes Kratkia Solo Nes," she said, again, this time being careful to not apply to much power. The air reached Flame first, and the ice didn't reach her, and instead froze on the spot. Julia released her spell, satisfied, then beckoned to Flame to make a flame.

A few hours later, she had made a...umm...COMPUTER! And started playing Egg Cave! 😃

Julia woke up. Just yesterday, she felt as if she'd improved a tiny bit. Seeing mist on the wondow, she blew, and a slight breeze cleared it.
