He was a bit startled seeing the cat. But Jasper decided to have some fun. Using the cat's shadow, he made it 3D and solid.

" Fine", he said. Muttering some latin words, the shadow hissed like a deflated tire and became boring again.

She wondered. Maybe Jasper had come back. She hoped he did. SHe didn't know where he went off to. Summoning her clothes, which took slilghtly more energy than she thought it would, she dressed and walked outside the inn, past the sullen face of the innkeeper. They weren't having much fun, since little cusomters were seeking accommodation.

"Hi! Where have you been? Where's Jessie? How about Cily?" Julia asked, brimming with questions. "Oh yea, how's your practice?"

Cily/Elegant scratched, then decided to make a doll. If she could make something human enough, then she could make a full-sized humanoid, and use that to make a good replacement for her original body.

A few hours later, Cily/Elegant tore up the "doll" in frustration. These claws couldn't make anything that was even a little complicated. The mouse she had made earlier had actually been little more than a lump of fur and meat, with a tail.

Jasper quickly stepped away. " You know alot of swear words for a cat", he said. Kirsten appeared and barked at the cat. " Nevermind", Jasper muttered as Kirsten cursed about something worse.
