"About as well as you can sleep in the hunger games," Reno offered a small smile. "I was just thinking, it can't be long untill the careers find us. What do you say we start walking again, in the direction of those dunes?" Reno asked and pointed.

I looked at him curiously, and the word bounced around my head. "Allies...." I said, with a tone of interest. Was that a good way to get back at Gamemakers? Yeah. Yeah it was.
"You're right, we're allies." I looked around hesitantly. Okay, so no roof falling in yet, maybe they think I'm just joking? Hopefully I can keep this 'joke' on long enough that I can keep this kid alive. He's got spunk.
"If we're allies, you should know this." I spread my large, 14 ft wings and delicately stroked a feather, grinning at him all the while. Then, I looked what he collected. "You found water?" I said in disbelief. "In the desert?! Brilliant!" I said with a smile, and took a huge drink.
