New Eggs - Your Opinion?

So about the new eggs, I believe they are hardly original. Ghost = Ghosty, Eeriek = Any Bird on Egg Cave, Skrulline is fairly original but the art isn't my favorite, Garo is the most original. What do you think about the new eggs?

I personally don't understand why there are only 4, that's not fair -.-

I like them though they aren't especially original. Though it may just be the shock of seeing new eggs in the cave.

I REALLY like the Eerieks art. I REALLY dont like the ghost O-O

I agree the Garo is most original but yet i dont care for it whatsoever, i dont care for the purple one at all..

Ghostar; I love the egg, but not the creature.

Skrulline; Love it!

Garo; It's too... complicated? I don't like it.

Eeriek; I like it, but it's in an odd position in the first stage.

The ghost looks good in egg form. The hatched version freaks me out xD

They are spooky, kudos to that. I think they are pretty original for being Halloween. But the Skrulline is like normal.. Nuff said. I think they are all good, in different ways!

Ghostars are pretty cute, but it's a ghosty's twin...

Skrulline (if that's how you spell it) is creepy and awesome! 😃

Eerieks are just beautiful! *o* I'm glad I have one. But *sigh* the dreaded clicks...

Garos are nice....that's pretty all I have to say. XD

And I think they'll release one more on Halloween?

Well Ian didn't release the Ghosty this year (aww D8) so the Ghostar is a cute little replacement. 😃

Reminds me of Casper the Ghost~

Ghostar: reminds me of an ice cream or frosting... something sweet 😱

Skrulline: Love their eyes @_@

Garro: (fave) I love the egg... I love the bright orange and so evil-looking XD

Eerieks: Not a fan bec. it's scary rather than evil 😋

I LOVE the eeriek egg, but don't care for the creature.

Skrulline I think the first stage is cute, but don't like the last stage.

The ghost egg is too much like the ghosty.

I love the garo egg, and I like the creature, but I'm not in love with it.

I thought I should do this inspection!
Ghostar: Love the egg, but then it looks like the stay puff marshmallow man in the hatched form. I would totally freeze the egg!

Skrulline: Doesn't really shout "Halloween!" to me. And too much going on. Plus it really reminds me on an omplit.

Garo: Kinda cool concept. I guess I like it the most because it IS original. And the egg is amazin!

Eerieks: Too much going on again. Kinda pretty egg, that I would freeze but otherwise I don't think I am in love with it.

I love the Eeriek. But then again, I like all bird-type or winged creatures. To be honest, the only one I find fault with is the Ghostar, because it's too similar to the Ghosty. Otherwise, they're all pretty amazing to me. I don't see why some people are being so critical of the new eggs.

I like the Skrulline. I find it adorable! But I don't have one yet. -_- But the other ones (except for the Eeriek) I don't like much.

I love the Eeriek. *shrug* Then again, I always want birds.
The Ghostar is surprisingly cute for another ghost egg.
The Skrulline is really awesome looking, although it kinda reminds me of one of Neopets' Darigan pets (only when their Darigan pets had, uh, actually good art)
The Garo I'm overall neutral about, but the art is lovely.

Overall, though, I think the art is levels above some of last years as far as technical quality goes.

@brookie - Everything has to have some point of origin. Dragons are just lizards with bat wings and unicorns are horses with a single goat horn, yet we see those as mythical. If you pick apart the Garo, it's got a lizard tail, bat wings, a goat body, and a rabbit head with ram horns.

Anyway, I think the new creatures are great and the art is rivaling that of the foo and florn in detail. 😊

I love the ghostar because it reminds me of casper a bit xD. The Skrulline is my first favorite, I love its color and its not so creepy(I hate creepy) As for the last two, Im not a huge fan of them. The garo is okay, but I still dont want one(no offence to the artist, its amazing, but not my type). The eeirek is just plain awkward looking lol.

Well I think it's unfair to those who cannot get CC since they're are so many more CC eggs out there rather than cave eggs. There are three monthlies each month and hardly any new cave eggs.

Well the origin of the Garo is more of a mythical creature rather than something standard like a bird.

Even though there aren't many eggs available in the cave, that doesn't necessarily mean that those who can't get CC are worse off than those that can. Eggs that appear only once a year or once ever (such as these specific Halloween creatures) will obviously be worth something once their time in the cave passes. When they become in rare supply you can trade them for eggs you want.

It seems rather ungrateful to be complaining about how few egg creatures came out for Halloween when four, to me, seems to be plenty. More cave creatures are most likely on their way in any case. We should be grateful for them and not nitpick at them, especially considering all the hard work the artists and the site coders put in to give these eggs to us in the first place.

my favorite is definitely the eeriek 😃 i love the colors and the first stage has an epic pose xP

next is the skrulline because it reminds me of my own halloween idea 😊 (status)

i have to say the ghostar is my least favorite. the egg is fine but all it is is a creepy chibi ghosty copy.

i like the garo but it reminds me of goblar.

Ghostar: Looks like an updated Ghosty; I like it better
Skrulline: Is a unique species, very Halloweeny
Garo: Really cool, probably my favorite
Eeriek: You can't do much with birds, but I love the fire and ice color scheme.

I actually love the new eggs even more than the CCs this month!

Ghostar: I like it much better than the ghosty, clean art, looks almost slimy 😉 (pokes WhiteSlime)

Skrulline: So awesome! Reminds me of the terron. My favorite!

Garo: Pretty nice. I like the stripes. Creepy looking 😉

Eeriek: Pretty cool. I like the mix of blue and red... looks almost like a wizard bird!

I LOVE ALL OF THEM! Even though, they are similar to other creatures. Most of the eggs on egg cave are based on a real species!
Ghostar: A happier, glassier looking ghosty!
Skrulline: 100% original! Amazing color and lovely choice of designs. (my fav)
Garo: So dazzling! Very colorful and amazing detail!
Eeriek: I LOVE THIS! So cute! I love the little hat and the beautiful feathers! I'd say it's unlike and better than any other bird on EC and in the real world!

Ghostar: Looks like a plastic figurine 😋
Skrulline: This one looks like a creature that might be an evil guy in Lego Universe. Just because of the color scheme. (I don't care about that site, but my brother is addicted and some rubbed off on me 😋)
Garo: Cute 😊 But the color scheme makes it Halloweeny
Eeriek: Not much to say about this one. But it's still cool 😊
