The lights now on, started turning bright. Milicent's hand was opening slowly again and the lights kept getting more and more bright. The shadows began fading.

@deannablanco3 good. I planned something. 😈As soon the light were getting brighter, Annibelle and Jasper began to fade. " I hate when this happens", Annibelle moaned, looking at herself fading. " " Get used to it", Jasper said unhappily. Annibelle walked out of the room.

Jasper looked like a colorful ghost. He walked to the light switch and closed the lights. Soon, Jasper became solid again.

"I can still turn it on," Milicent said with pride. "But I won't. And why do you guys fade when the lights get bright? Is that just...your thing or what?" Milicent clutched the door frame and switched her weight onto her left foot, expectant of an answer.

@bubble_treeAnnibelle walked in as the girl asked a question. " Our life source is connected to shadows so if I stay in light for a long time, I start to fade. Or if theres really bright light for instance. They are side effects I guess.", Jasper explained.

I walked out of the room and went outside. I made little figures of lightning in the air with my fingers. I sighed just how powerful could I be without something standing in my way.
