Daniel walked by, holding a stack of books in his arms. He walked passed several he didn't know. He wasn't in the popular group. He often spent his time humbly playing the acoustic gutair. He passed a group of extremely popular cheerleaders chatting and showing-off. He didn't pay much attention. He was determined to get somewhere.

Daniel had finally gotten to History Class. He wasn't paying much attention, just doodling in his book.

Daniel gasped. Everyone got up and ran but him. His teacher yelled for him, but he got drowned in the sea of children. Daniel couldn't find and open exit. They were all swarmed with groups of paniced children. Daniel decided to wait in the corner of the classroom until it was all over.

Banter Started to follow the throng of students, twards the main exit, but almost fell over tiania in the process. "what the..." Banter muttered, and bent down, and scooped her up, striding quickly outside, where he layed her down on the cool grass.

Daniel hadn't a clue what it all was. All he saw was the halways that were lit red with emergency lights that flickered on and off by the second, and kids scrambling to the entrance. The halls were filled with alarm and screams of students that were clueless, yet thinking "Code Red" wasn't your everyday normal school fire drill. Daniel, still afraid he was going to get trampled, remained in the red room.


Once almosy everybody got out, Daniel walked out. The school was flashing still, and it got dark every second the lights flashed off. He figured he was trapped, because of all the mayhem. Daniel's next move was to grab a defensive object that he could protect himself with, just in case this wasn't a drill. He looked around murmuring. "It's deserted here!" He went into the teachers desk and found a plastic fork. "Well...it's all I got." he said to himself, giving himself a mental facepalm. Daniel went down the halls, inspecting the rooms quietly.

"A code red." Banters face tightened. "Come on, lets move." Banter held out his hand to her. "Hurry" was all he said.

"Oy, who are you?" Tienna heard as they ran. She looked behind them and there was a guy with a mask, running towards them. Fear rushed through her. "BANTER RUN!!" She yelled. But the man was faster than her, and grabbed her wrist. She tried to scream, but his hand was over her mouth. A muffled "BANTER, GO!!!" Slipped through his fingers and she stared after Banter.

Daniel was worried. He finally had broken through a door, and he ran out side with a metal fire-extinguisher. He saw a girl and boy running. "Hey, I know them...um they're...ummm." he thought. But he stopped and whispered. "Wait a second! This isn't time for thinking!" He slowly turned over the corner and saw a man with a black mask. "That's Tienna and Banter!" He looked back at Tienna in horror, with Banter determined. Daniel chased after the man with the mask, trying to hit him with the extinguisher, but that only hurt him more. The man kicked him down and punched him in the face. Daniel tried getting up, but he was weak. With a gasp, Daniel's arm fell to the ground, and he lay there...darkened into sleep.

Banter whirled, giving the dark stranger a kick in the face. The man let go of Tiania for a moment, to stop his bloody nose. Banter pummeled him to the ground, using is strong arms and years of football practice to help him. Banter jumped up and and grabbed Tiania's arm, pulling her deeper into the forest. He stopped once they were very deep in the woods.

Tienna looked over her shoulder. "Daniel! He's still there! Stay here, I'll be right back." She said, and eased him down onto a log. "Stay here." She stared into his eyes and was mesmerized for a moment, and then pulled herself away, and ran.

Daniel struggled to get up, with blood running down his face and a broken leg, he couldn't manage to. He coughed very hard. "What happened?" he said to himself. His icy blue eyes grew duller and duller. He saw somebody run up to him. He was zoned out, and was almost. blind. He heard nothing but fuzz. Daniel saw a blurry figure shaking him, but he saw or heard nothing to know who it was.

Tienna ran to Daniel, kicked the guy where it hurt, and punched him. She grabbed Daniel and shook him. "Daniel, Daniel!" Tears started flowing out of her eyes. "Daniel..." She was sobbing now.

Banter looked around, and ran out after her. "Calm down" he said to Tiania who was sobbing. He studied daniel for a minute and said, " He doesn't have a cuncussion, just looks like he got hit hard." Banter offered a hand to Daniel, looking around to see if there were anymore maskmen. He saw two heading tward them. He turned to daniel and said, "Can you run?"
