Banter opened his eyes and a small groan escaped his lips. He stared up at Tienna, whos lips were also bleeding and chapped, He took his thumb and ran it across her lips gently. Her eyes were red and puffy from crying, but still beautiful. Then he remembered what he had seen. "Wrong" he muttered. She didn't love him, she loved dainel, but he loved her. None of life's great aspects mattered now. He kneeled first, tearing away from her. Why pretend, he thought. Then he stood and strod away, making his head spin so fast, he had to lean against a tree. If I could get my hands on Dainel in football, he thought bitterly, his eye's turning cold.

"Banter!" She called after him. He didn't love her. "I love you..." She said quietly, but loud enough for him to hear her. His eyes turned cold. That was it. He hated her. She didn't even know why. She looked at him and narrowed her eyes. "But I know you don't care about me enough for forgiveness." She turned and ran. Her long legs pumping, and leaping over things. It felt good. She was glad to clear her mind. But what of revenge? She was stuck with a broken heart, and a bleeding body. He was stuck with a major head injury... Maybe I should go back and help him, she thought, but pushed the thought aside. Yet it kept coming back. Finally she started back to the place she had left him.

Daniel thanked Annibelle with a smile. "Thanks for your help." He got up and started to walk torwards the outside entrance. He wanted to sit in the breeze and cool it all off. He noticed Annibelle following him there and he looked away. Daniel was a bit depressed he couldn't of helped out more. Instead he was just the guinea pig-the one that got to test the injuries. He closed his eyes and his mind went blank.

Tienna needed desparately to think straight. She quickly climbed up a nearby tree and looked across the vast forest. It was one of the highest, and definitely the most soothing. She was sick of crying. She should have left Daniel.... but would he have been okay? She wasn't in love with him, she just felt like he was an ally. A friend she couldn't afford to lose. But Banter probably thought she was in love with Daniel, when she was really in love with him. She felt so stupid and short-sighted! She had practically rejected him. A sadness hung in her eyes and stayed there until she felt the cool fall breeze on her back and a tad of hope shot through her, but wore off. She would never love again.

Banter wandered around aimlessly, trying to help himself. He coudn't see the point of living if there was no Tienna. "TIENNA!!!" He shouted, no answer.

Tienna was snatched from her thoughts by a yell. "TIENNA!!" It was Banter. She couldn't tell if it was rage or sadness. She walked back to him quickly. But the look on her face was determined and could be seen as anger. She walked over to him and didn't stop until they were right in front of each other. "Lets talk it out. Why did you think I didn't love you? I do, Banter. Why don't you understand that?" She had a sad look in her eyes and her eyelashes batted at him.

" You think, I don't understand? Tienna, I understand that I will always love you, but I see the way you look at Daniel, and yes I've spent many days and nights longing for you to look at me like that." His voice turned soft and he looked away and muttered," But I don't think you did."

Daniel heard soft voices, and could clearly make out what Banter was saying. "Liar," he muttered. "She's loved you! Why can't you understand that? You're acting like a jerk to her!" Daniel's glance turned at Banter sticking out of the forest. "I should've known..." Daniel thought. "I should've known. That was the first time EVER she gave up you for me. Ignorant!" Daniel gritted his teeth and turned back to Annibelle with an exasperated look.

Banter whirled. "what did you say?" He said through his teeth. Stalking tward Dainel he grabbed his shirt and pulled upward, lifting him of the ground. "what did you say?"

Daniel wasn't afraid of him. "I SAID YOU ARE BEING A JERK TO A GIRL WHO LOVES YOU!" He spat to his face. He flamed and his eyes changed from a duller blue, to an icy, dangerous blue.

Daniel smiled. "Too bad. I ALREADY DID!" Daniel swung his legs outward and pushed him off him by his neck. Daniel stood his ground. "You scared?" Daniel growled with a hint of laughter in his voice. What, was he gonna punch him to death? Not a chance!

"Heh, then what was THAT? Huh?" Daniel said, pointing several places. "Just 'cause your stronger than me doesn't make you Mister Big Shot." Daniel laughed and walked away to find Annibelle. "Jerk." he whispered softly.

"Ya know what Banter? We were in a life or death situation. He could have died! You were safe, and so was I, but I wasn't about to stand there and watch him struggle. He's right. You are acting like a jerk. I gave you a chance, and you blew it." She studied him and tears welled in her eyes as she said it. "Goodbye, Banter." She turned away.This was his fault, so why did she feel as if there was a hole in her chest now? Why did she feel so.... lonely. She had forgotten the feeling, but it returned with a vengance and she leaned against a tree, on the verge of tears. She pulled a pocket book about history out of her coat. She opened it up and read about Kings and Queens and Princes and Princesses. It made her feel like she was escaping.

Daniel noticed Tienna coming up. Daniel nodded his head. Daniel glanced a sharp look at Banter. What has gotten to his head? He was being stupid! "See Banter? You got what you deserved." Daniel hissed. He walked away, leaving Annibelle, Tienna and Banter there.

"Oh my GOD!" Tienna said exasperated. "You are both being jerks. Daniel, seriously, no need to rub it in. Banter, why can't you get it through your thick head that I love you? Why is it hard to understand? Tell me, I beg of you... Please..." The tears almost started, but she pushed them off with anger that shone bright and pure in her eyes. "Maybe you don't love me. You met Annibelle first. If we don't work this out this won't work."God, this is so sappy.

Banter turned. "I love you too." And then he took her by the hand, and pulled her close. He wrapped his arms around her, and stared into her eyes. Then he kissed her, not caring that Dainel was propbible watching, with his mouth open. At the picture of this scene crossed his mind, he inwardly laughed. He had just eaten a pepperment, and she smelled like skittles.God, I know!

The next thing Banter did was breath taking to Tienna. He took her hand, told her he loved her, and kissed her. Kissed her! He kissed her! Her mind was confused at first, but warmed up to the idea quickly. She kissed back. For that moment, she was happy. Her anger and rage, gone.

Tienna's rage might have been gone, but Daniel's was still there. As he put his hand to the school wall trying to hold back the fury inside of him. He shivered, and soon, the biggest grin slapped across his face. He knew what to do. Banter may have made him look like a doof, and Tienna made it worse, but he could plot out the perfect storm. Easy.DANIEL'S GONE INSANE O.o Lol JK. xD

Banter turned from Tienna, slipping his hand into hers. He smiled evily back at Dainel, but felt his mucles tighten. 'Something's wrong' he couldn't help thinking.

Daniel didn't want anybody, he was happy being independent, and this wouldn't of all happened if Tienna hadn't helped him! Of course, she was trying to help when he was in need, but he could of done it himself just fine. His eyes grew wider as he scratched the brick walls on the other side of the building.

Tienna still stayed close to Banter, as they held hands. She felt so safe.... For the first time in hours. She wondered where Daniel was. She hoped he wasn't mad at her for calling him an idiot, she had lost her temper. Her cap had blown off. Yet she could tell in Banter's eyes something was terribly wrong.

"The formula fortransfeoric speed is Mvv/2*4(6)x+y= Q(k/8)-5.5582. He couldn't have possibly have traveled that far, in that amount of time." Banter said, doing the math in his head. His eye's sweeped the area for a second, Dainel was no where in sight. "He would have to have an In-human machine helping him," Banter said carefully. "Impossoble." Banter muttered, still deep in thought.

Daniel snickered, but he was pretty calm, and happy, but his mind was like a whirlpool spinning....and not keeping track, as if he were being brainwashed. His fingertips were bleeding, due to the recent carving and scratching that pulled his nails upward. He felt fine, but something was wrong--and it wasn't him. Daniel was always pretty laid-back, but he felt as if something was possesing him from the inside.
