love or friendship? lots of animals dont really love their owners, they just have a friendship because getting treats and being petted is better than living in the pound. both dogs and cats. on the other hand- some animal really do love their owners, we just have no way to figure it out cus we cant talk to them.

cats arent large enough to even try. cats have been known to save smaller pets from predators though. surprisingly, there has been cats that protect farm chickens. they're pretty common, actually. they also keeep birds from taking stuff
