~A Mirrored World~

With danger at every turn, this is a world ruled, no, once ruled by two forces. Light and Dark, balancing in a precarious state, above the fickle and everchanging planet of Earth. But, this balance has been upset, and a plea for help has been sent. 10 cards, each engraved with its element, have been sent to the humans, in a hope that balance will be restored. But will the chosen ones prevail? Or will they find a truth, in this world full of lies, mirrored in the only thing that can restore the balance - a special mirror which lies in the core of the Earth.

RULES

Be literate. Seriously. If you don't use proper sentences, grammar, punctuation and not be literate for more than 10 posts (in a row) without a proper reason like you're on the iPod etc and the buttons aren't working, I might not let you be part of the RP anymore. I have a neat - freak situation here on my hands.

No swear words. Your character needs to swear - just say *She cursed.* Thank you.

No romance, just crushes. =_= Thank you.

This is Narvana's personality: She has a small Minnesotan accent and has a temper like thin ice. She can tend to get too dramatic and tends to fail to forgive and forget. She is somewhat forgetful and is kind of a dreamer, her thoughts as flurryful (is that a word?) as early winter snow.

Koda and Xai are twins; fraternal, but you could tell they are twins. They are inseperable, and it's hard to gain their trust, but once gained can be the nicest people ever known. On the outside they are shy, and reserved, only like to play with themselves than play with others. On the inside they're funny, and kind-hearted.

Appearance: Bright yellow eyes like the morning sun, long, black hair. She wears a necklace, a tear-drop shape that hangs on a golden chain. The tear drop stores her energy and power and absorbs light.

Very quiet, and is withdrawn from others. She usually doesn't talk much, yet Scintilla has a heart of gold - although she doesn't show it - she keeps thoughts to herself.

Katrina stared up at the floating clouds. They seemed so peaceful, so... isolated from the rest of the world. Suddenly, the sky seemed to glow, brightening and shining. She looked around to see if anyone else saw this. But everyone seemed to go on with their daily lives.

"You... are chosen, Guardian of the Illiusion..." a vioce whispered. A card dropped into her hand. "Take... care of it. Into the bubbling lava."

Katrina stared up. But the world was the same. Except for the card with a grey, misty insignia.

A young girl strode across rapidly in the city scene. It was hustling and bustling, and as much as she liked it, she didn't come here to visit the city atmosphere. No, there was a special place for her, and it was surrounded by plants. All she had to do was make her way... past that old garbage bin...

A shining light hit her eyes. Miriam was home.

She gently fondled the leaves of all the plants which surrounded her. Even though she was with poisonous plants, stinging plants and many other unconventional varieties. They never seemed to hurt her, and bobbed contentedly on the breeze.

Without warning, the sky began to luminate. There are no one else around. Concerned, she looked at her beloved plants. They seemed to have froze, pointed towards the sky.

A green card floated down. A voice, subtle yet detectable, whispered into her ear "You have been chosen.... Guardian of plants." Miriam recoiled, but it was still here "Don't neglect it... Go.... The bubbling lava..."

The world seemed to become normal again. The wind which she hadn't noticed was gone swept her hair again. The card, curiously, still remained there, as though to say it wasn't a dream. A dream... a dream... The world sank into oblivion, holding a card beautifully embezzled with green patterns.

Scintilla sat down under a willow tree, concentrating on her thoughts. It was much further away than the other clustered plants where the other people were sitting - she liked her solitude.

A warm breeze blew and the branches of the tree rustled while leaves drifted down and around her. A shimmering card appeared in her hand and a swirly, spiral pattern was embedded on its surface.

'You will control the element light.'

Her teardrop necklace glowed a little, like the waking of power within.

Miriam woke up, head spinning, accompanied by two other girls. She saw a single flower in her hand, and pocketed it, before making her way to introduce herself.

"So... how are you guys? Name's Miriam, by the way," she said, opening a hand to shake.

She looked up as one of the girls introduced herself as Miriam.

'Hello,' she said and gingerly shook Miriam's hand. 'My name is Scintilla.'

Annibelle entered her room. When she approached her desk, there was a card.

"JIMMY!" Annibelle yelled.

How many times did she tell him to stay out of her room? Little kids never understand. All they do is go around, playing with pokemon cards. Annibelle picked up the card and was about to throw it in the garbage. Then, a strange voice started to speak to her.

"Don't throw the card away. You have been chosen." the voice spoke.

Annibelle stopped. Was this her imagination? Or maybe she's going crazy.

Arya walked on, flouncing her hair. She got out a comb, then brushed her hair, and looked up at the sky. Suddenly, it flared, and a ball of fire dropped down. She flinched back, and it hovered in front of her.

"Take it.. Make it yours," a voice said. She reached out, and the fire seemed to be cool, calming. "Go.. Guardian of the Fire,"

And suddenly the world disappeared, and she landed in a grassy field.
