I hissed angrily, shaking out my now light, caramel colored brown hair. Ugh. I wanted my good old Korean, black, hair back. And Korean, brown, eyes.

It was like I could read her thoughts. [Not literally xD] They were listening, waiting to close in on us.

"We should travel onto the Diamond Castle. There, the Muses can tell us where to go next. It's just past the Seven Stones in the West."

I said, a bit too loudly, a bit too clearly. I gave her a curt nod, hoping she would catch on.

@bubble_tree LOL Diamond Castle, the Muses, and the Seven Stones are all from a Barbie movie I was watching 'cause I was babysitting some kids xD

"I can transport us there. Much quicker," Manililia whispered just loud enough for her to hear. Rustling was coming from behind her. Before continuing on with her idea, she teleported off to the location and snapped the neck, unknowingly, of a small man with a satellite. She took the satellite and walked back.

"Stupid little man has been listening and giving off our conversation." Manililia held up the small satellite, then she flung it into the lake.

I said, shaking out my light hair out of my face. I rolled my eyes, a bit irritated.

"There's no such thing as a Diamond Castle. That was just to get the bugs off our trail. I have no idea where we're going to next. I'm pretty sure the Diamond Castle is from a Barbie movie."

I said, electricity building on my fingertips. Katryna would've grinned at that, but no, Lightning, me, doesn't like to smile. Nothing is a laughing matter anymore, perhaps the remnants of fractured happiness may pass over my lips like a forgotten memory or wistful ghosts that can only look on the scene.

I stared at the shadows that formed on Silic, coagulating into a mass of a thick web like spider silk, weaving its way between her fingertips elegantly, painting a picture of morose gloom and desperate hope.

The thick tangle of webs turned into delicate, light, thin wisps of smoke curling around her porcelein-white fingers, gently caressing the fingertips of her hand as they entered into her bloodstream.

Was that how the electricity looked entering me? Perhaps blue sparks, bright against the dull, misty fog, would weave intricate masses of pure electricity, like the crackle of lightning and thunder working together to create the beauty of the storm.

She was ignoring me. I didn't like being ignored. That wasn't the way I worked. I spoke when I needed to, but when I spoke people listen. My eyes narrowed and my knuckles became white. I grabbed her shoulder and spun her around.

"This isn't how things work. You listen, Mousy. What did you do? You've screwed too much up already by existing, do you have to mess up everybody else's life too?"

I hissed, the words rolling easily out of my mouth, the ease coming from words said too often.
