Quitting plague.

i dont think the moderators or @ian know☹️ like when bluegirl08 said she was quitting on a forum, @Zac just said goodbye☹️ Everyone else was like NOO DONT LEAVE!

WHY? I joined in October and I've seen maybe 10 people leave within a month. ☹️

@bubble_tree People come and go all the time. Unless you are actually friends with them why care? They have their reasons for leaving and they should be respected. Don't let it affect your time here 😊

@gvansta they are all our friends. We are respecting them, just letting them know they will be missed and everytime an eggcaver leaves it can get more lonesome. But otherwise, we are all trying to find ways to have fun. And it does affect our time here in some way.

Every single person is your friend? That's nice. The one thing I like about this site: people would actually say that and mean it.

But you got to admit some of the people who quit now and then just want some attention. They post quitting topics but never really leave or use it as an excuse to attack the site. To me those type of quitters are just attention-seekers taking advantage of the feelings of this small and tight-knit community. Those who quit for other more acceptable reasons: alright good bye to them and wish them the best, talk about the good times post suggestions on improvements if they have them.. but call their leaving a plague?

As for me the quitters don't affect my time at all. If my close friends or people here I frequently talk to were quitting yes I would be sad. But I won't go making topics about how a few people's leaving is the end of the site as we know it. If they were true friends it would not be the end of a friendship.

This is not a plaque. Seems a huge dramatization to call it that. You'll end up scaring our new players away 😉

I don't even get why people make the topics "Quitting!" If you're gonna quit, quit. If you wanna leave your eggs in the hands of your friends, do so, just don't make it public. Random people don't have to know.

I'm not leaving EVER 😊 I know it's sad when people quit and they do seem to do it in groups sometimes, but I don't think a lot more people are quitting now than there were before, I actually think it was much worse at the start of the school year...

For me I'm bored most of the time on Eggcave. The only time that I actually get in to it is when Eggcave has some "event" going on (like CRW or Halloween Monthlys, etc.) and then after I start to lose interest again

@Ian Let's see more players get interested in Eggcave! But don't make Ian and the crew spend too much time thinking of new ideas...let's help and suggest!
