You could, although I don't think either of the players are very active, so EggCave might not do anything. Maybe they'll forcibly rename a Joshua or just let them be. I doubt they'll just let all names be reclaimed again though.

Oof. While I can understand why EggCave would do that, I feel like if I were in that position(and still new), I might've done the same unknowingly. EggCave doesn't really have any sort of tutorial system besides players creating "I'm new" forums and older players responding.

If you don't mind me asking, what was the Squidot incident? I'm finding that a lot of the history on this site is extremely hard to find, especially events that are covered up. I always find myself going down a rabbit hole in the forums.

Honestly, I'd really, really want to know, because then so many valuable names could be put on other creatures. The names of really old users who probably wouldn't ever trade anything could be put into the economy again. If you ever find out, I'd love to know.
